2.3 Letter and Communication Data
The primary function of Letbird is to enable users to exchange letters. Accordingly, the following information may be processed and stored as necessary for the service to function:

- Delivery information

2.4 Location Information
Letbird may use device location information to improve the user experience. Location information:
- Is used only to determine the user's country and city;
- Does not continuously track precise GPS coordinates;
- Does not create location history;
- Does not permanently store exact location data.
Location information is used solely to improve profile and matching experiences.

All real in-app purchases made within the Marketplace are processed exclusively through the secure payment systems and networks of Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Letbird never accesses, views, or stores your credit card or debit card information in its databases.
7. Data Sharing with Third Parties and Integrations
Letbird does not sell or rent user data directly to third parties. However, limited data sharing may occur with the following platform partners to ensure the technical infrastructure and functionality of the Application:
Firebase Integration (Google LLC)
Google Firebase tools are used for user activity tracking, error analysis, push notification management, and analytics reporting. Firebase processes anonymous device identifiers and usage metrics in accordance with its own privacy policies.
Social Login Providers (Apple & Google)
Apple and Google login methods utilize the security and authentication infrastructures of their respective platforms to provide fast and secure sign-in.
Advertising Networks and Business Partners
Advertisements displayed within the Application may be optimized using your device's advertising identifier (IDFA or Google Advertising ID). Users may disable such tracking at any time through their device privacy settings (App Tracking Transparency / Ad Personalization).
8. Data Security and Retention Period
Personal information stored in our databases, including first name, last name, gender, photo, email address, Google ID, and Apple ID, is protected through industry-standard encryption and security measures against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Your personal data is retained as long as your Letbird membership remains active. When you close your account or request deletion, your data will be permanently deleted, destroyed, or anonymized unless a legal obligation requires its retention.
However, no method of data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information.
9. Children's Privacy
Letbird is intended solely for individuals aged 18 and older. Persons under the age of 18 are prohibited from using the Application. If an account or data belonging to a minor is identified, the relevant account may be removed and the associated data deleted.
10. User Rights and Account Deletion
Users have full control over their data. Under applicable laws, you have the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed and request information regarding such processing;
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether your data is being used in accordance with those purposes;

Account Deletion
Users may delete their accounts through the "Account Settings" section within the Application. This feature is available to all users, including those who signed in using Apple.
After account deletion:
- Account access is terminated;
- Profile visibility is removed;
- Personal data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period.

Users may also submit data deletion requests through:

11. Data Retention Policy
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide services and fulfill legal obligations. Following an account deletion request:
